2 Peter 1:5-7 tells us there are some things we need to add to our faith in other to grow and be effective.
One of them is knowledge. Knowledge to some have been relegated to just knowledge of the Word as it relates to God which is essential but that’s not the only knowledge.
Here are a few suggestions:

1.People skills! My goodness.. there are so many different personality types on this planet. You need emotional intelligence, patience, courage, discernment and many other attributes to deal with the mix. Jesus didn’t just grow in favour with God but also with man. This doesn’t mean you live to please people but you must learn to love, walk with and work with people without compromising your right standing with God.
2.Financial management- my goodness. Need I say more. The gospel is free but it costs to spread it. Being a faithful steward of God’s money is key and unfortunately many people are bad stewards of their personal finances and bring the same bad disciplines when having to steward the money sown into ministry/business/relationship.
3. Administration- what I’ve learnt here so far is I can’t escape this. lol! Grateful for the different administrators that help me with the various ministries I’m privileged to be a part of or steward but there’s no escaping it. There are things I have to do. Delegation is a key part of effective leadership but there are somethings you can’t delegate away.

When I accepted the call from God, I didn’t know how much admin it would involve. Lol. Let’s just say I see why administration is a gift of the Spirit. I literally used to dread admin days. But now I’m better. Still not my favourite thing but I now see how it helps me be more effective. Plus I have help!
