I saw my next (future) self again.. but she wouldn’t say she was future. She would say she is now.

I was reminded that sometimes it’s not just others you need to give up in order to be who God has called you to be.

Sometimes you have to give up this version of you for the next you to be revealed.

Something like new wine and old skin. New wine, needs new skin. The old skin can’t contain the new wine. Mark 2:22 says no one puts new wine into old skin. So sometimes it’s not that God doesn’t want to do the new in you.. but you may not have what it takes to contain it. 🙆🏾♀️

The old skin was you. But the you that needs to die, that you need to let go so the next you can be revealed to contain the new thing God wants to do in and through you.

The process is called #metamorphoō which means to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure.

2 Corinthians 3:18- “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” #BeholdHim

Romans 12:2- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
